MAKE A BACKUP OF THE DATABASE TO BE EDITED BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE!


Step 1: Find the current StrategyId from the iFIXBlockEntities (or InTouch, OPC, etc) table



Step 2: Find the strategy GUID that you want the alarms to go to, from the StrategyEntities table in Dispatcher database.


Step 3: right click the iFIX database (or InTouch, OPC, etc) and click new query. Copy and paste this query and replace the GUIDs with the customer's actual GUIDs for StrategyId.



UPDATE [TECHSUPPORT-01-911.Default.iFIX].[dbo].[iFIXBlockEntities] 

SET

       StrategyId = REPLACE(StrategyId,'20169823-DD3A-3340-A96D-BCB9D6719A99','FAB6A552-801D-4B59-91A9-BDBDB2728F5C');


The first string - '20169823-DD3A-3340-A96D-BCB9D6719A99' = CURRENT strategy
The second string - 'FAB6A552-801D-4B59-91A9-BDBDB2728F5C' = DESIRED new strategy
