1. Failed to find GUI Hosts
This article will discuss how to fix the error "Failed to find GUI hosts" when opening the WIN-911 Workspace. This error will occur if the WIN-911 modules have not been mapped.
1. Locate the WIN-911 installation media. If you are running 3.X.X, you will find the ServiceActivator in the Support folder. If you are running 4.X.X, you will find the Service Activator in the Tools folder.

2. Run the ServiceActivator.exe file as an administrator and verify the output in the command prompt. You should receive an OK back for all modules that are installed. It is OK to see NotFound for the modules you have not installed.
3. Next, run the WIN-911 Module Mapper. The Module Mapper will be found by searching in the WIN-911 Enterprise Folder or through the Start menu.
4. Click the check and choose to save.
If an issue occurs when running the module mapper open Services from in Windows and verify SQL Server (WIN911) is running.
Clear the Internet Explorer history, cache and cookies:
Tools Icon > Internet options > Settings > View Files > Delete all cookie files here (ctrl+a then delete button)
Click OK then back at the "Internet Options" popup, click delete and check the boxes to match below, and delete, close Internet Explorer.
Try opening the WIN-911 Workspace again.
