In the event of a password change to the account running the WIN911 services you receive a Workspace error like Error 404 when accessing the Workspace. The credentials for the WIN911 software would need to be changed. Changing the user name and passwords for all the WIN911 Services and Application Pools can be time consuming. This guide will go over using the Identity Change batch file as a means of quickly changing all the passwords with a just a few steps. This process only applies to the WIN-911 Standard, Interactive or Advanced product line.
Using the batch file
The batch file can be found at the bottom of this document for your use. The batch file will change all your installed WIN911 Runtimes and Application Pools credentials.
1. Right click the batch file and run it as Administrator.
2. Enter your user name and press enter. Then your Domain name if you are using a domain login, otherwise put in (".") Hit enter again and put your password in. Hit enter and the batch file will change your credentials.
The example images are for a system that have all the WIN911 modules installed, therefore do not be alarmed if some of the modules listed here do not exist on your system. Please note, you will see an error for the MobileAppPool and Service that is due to preparations for the new Mobile Application that will release in 2019 and this error can be ignored. The batch file will also not change the InTouch Runtime credentials if the service is disabled.
3. Verify that the batch file changed your services and applications to use the correct credentials and are running.
